2. Return Shipping and Store Credit: If you need to return an item for any reason other than manufacturing defects, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. However, we would be happy to provide you with store credit for the returned item. Please note that store credit will be issued minus any damages or loss of value due to mishandling.
3. 14-Day Return Period: We offer a 14-day return period for items with manufacturing defects. Please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order if you encounter any defects. Please note that this policy applies to all items sent via standard post without insurance.
4. Postage Delays and Customs Fees: While we do our best to ensure timely deliveries, please understand that postage delays are sometimes out of our control. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such situations. Additionally, please note that any customs fees and taxes incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Minimal Packaging and Environmental Concern: At Idol Wares, we prioritize environmental concern. To minimize waste, all items arrive in reusable satin protective bags. We believe in taking care of both you and the environment.

Custom and Made to Order Pieces

To ensure the accuracy of pattern making for custom orders and the final product fit, it is crucial that you provide us with measurements exactly as instructed. It is your responsibility to provide the measurements in the format we require. We cannot be held responsible for errors in the supplied specifications or measurements, especially if they do not adhere to the format we request.

We recommend measuring twice to ensure that we only cut once. Our team puts in the utmost effort to create pieces that precisely match the specifications provided. We guarantee that our product will be completed to the highest possible standard.

Sizing Details

The sizing details are shown on most of our listings, indicating the available sizes. However, it is important to consider whether these sizes are suitable for your specific use. We understand that there may be variables such as phone size, bust and waist measurements, and other considerations. Therefore, we encourage you to thoroughly check these details before placing your order.

Brass Hardware Tarnished?

Our brass hardware is custom casted from the highest quality brass available to us. It is supplied by a US company that ensures environmentally sound beads for our casting. However, it is important to understand the nature of brass, as it contains a percentage of copper. Over time, copper develops a beautiful green patina due to oxidation, which is normal and adds character to the hardware.
If you prefer a shiny gold appearance, there are polishing products available, such as Brasso. To use it, carefully apply the polishing product to a clean cotton cloth and then to the metal parts of the hardware. Be cautious to avoid getting the liquid on the leather. Ensure you follow the instructions provided by the product you choose, as specific brands may have different application methods. Following this process should enhance the look of the brass hardware.

Alternatively, if you appreciate the patina aged or antique look, you may prefer to let the natural aging effects of the hardware shine through. Embrace the unique character that develops over time!
